Weight Loss Tips Motivation – Fire Up Your Weight Loss Program
Weight loss tips motivation and a good weight loss program...they all go together.
Anyone who has tried to lose weight needs occasional weight loss motivation to get fired up again. After all, the continual effort to get your weight down or just to control it can get old...but giving up is not an option!
So take a deep breath, put a smile on your face, and repeat after me: “I will never give up my weight loss program. Losing weight means too much to my health and appearance. I will win! I will reach my desired weight because I am not a quitter. Quitters never win and winners never quit. I am a winner!”
Okay, now that you’ve made a healthy attitude adjustment, consider the five weight loss motivation tips on this page (and those on my other pages) to get that weight-loss fire going again.
For now, I’m going to concentrate on exercise. (Did I hear somebody groan?) If that’s not exactly what you wanted to hear, then that is exactly where we need to go!
Those who add exercise to their weight-loss program reach their goals much faster and also look and feel better.

Weight Loss Tips Motivation For Exercise
Five Great Reasons To Keep Exercising:
1. Exercise decreases stress (bad stuff!).
Your weight loss program should not be stressful. Stress is one of, if not the, most harmful elements in our busy society today. It robs you of the enjoyment of life and can even kill you.
Adding exercise to your weight loss program not only burns off those calories that would be converted to fat, but researchers have found that it relieves anxiety for an hour or two after the workout. Actually, I can sense the relief as soon as I start exercising. How does this work?
Exercise relieves anxiety by increasing the flow of natural brain chemicals to the brain. One of these is serotonin, which calms and brings you into a positive mood. Exercise also heats your body through increased blood flow. It is well known that heat relaxes the muscles.
2. Exercise increases your body’s natural defenses.
Exercise increases your heartbeat, resulting in blood pressure surges. These surges sweep disease-fighting immunity cells into the blood where they detect and attack cold or flu viruses, among other things. Studies show that people who exercise have up to 50 percent fewer sick days than those who don’t.
3. Exercise gives you more energy.
Everyone needs energy. I’m 64 years old now and my energy level is a lot higher than a lot of teenagers I know. I am keenly aware that my high energy level is exercise related.
It seems strange, but exercising will give you more energy. In a 1997 study, researchers found that a brisk 10-minute walk gave people more energy than eating a candy bar (and is a lot healthier for you).
Exercise causes the lungs to provide more oxygen to working muscles, which increases stamina and makes you feel more energetic.
4. Exercise increases artery and heart health.
Physical activity increases high-density lipoproteins (HDL/good cholesterol), by as much as 20 percent. Also, HDL helps the body get rid of low-density lipoproteins (LDL/bad cholesterol), the artery-clogging kind. Studies show that HDL can even pick up the cholesterol that has been deposited in arteries and move it to where it won't harm you.
Also, exercise causes the level of fat particles in the blood (triglycerides) to fall and converts them into fatty acids, which can be used for energy. This is good news! You burn stored fat every time you exercise.
Of course, when you exercise your body, your heart also gets exercised, and who doesn’t want a stronger heart?
5. Exercise sharpens your mind.
Here’s a quote from the Mayo Clinic website: “Your ultimate goal should be to exercise at least 30 minutes a day most days of the week, as this is best for your heart. Several studies have found that adding a 30-minute exercise session to your weight loss program is beneficial for your brain too.”
So get up and get going. Add exercise to your weight loss program today!
