10 Motivation For Weight Loss Tips
Tip #1
Exercise is important. Stick in there because:
- It burns calories
- Slims your waistline
- Firms and tones those droopy muscles
- Sharpens your mind
- Increases your energy
- Builds up your defenses against disease
- Relieves stress and anxiety
- Improves artery health
- Brings cholesterol down
- It turns you into a fat-burning machine (firm muscles increase your metabolism and burn fat even while you sleep)
Tip #2
“Inch by inch and everything’s a cinch.” Your weight loss program may seem to moving awfully slow, but you will get there...just don’t give up. Remember the story of the tortoise and the hare? It’s usually those who want to lose weight too fast who want to give up too soon. Never give up, and you will reach your weight loss goal.
Tip #3
Take a lesson from Winston Churchill. Against “impossible odds” he brought England through World War II. His motto was, “Never, never, never, give up.” England won, and so can you!
Tip #4
Think about how much better you will feel while losing weight. Is that unhealthy, calorie-laden meal really more important than feeling and looking great all the time?
Tip #5
Daily take a good look in the mirror...the less clothes the better. Jump around a little. Yes, I know it hurts and that you don’t like what you see. But that’s a good thing, because, if you stay on your diet and exercise program, you will start feeling pretty good about what you see.
This is a hard one, but if you do it daily it can be a real motivator.
Tip #6
Say the following throughout the day, every day: “I will lose one pound this week.” That’s a fairly easy goal to reach, if you stay on our diet and exercise program. As a matter of fact, you will probably lose more. Now stop and think...this time next year you will be at least 52 pounds lighter. And how about two or three years down the road? Just never give up!
If losing weight too slowly is discouraging you, kick up your weight loss with something like the
Fat Loss 4 Idiots.
This is a great weight loss program that has a 100% 60-day money-back guarantee and costs very little. This program will get that fat off fast at a very low price.
Tip #7
Do you have a picture of yourself when you were the weight you want to be? If you do, hang it near or on your refrigerator door. Be sure to look at it every time you open the door, and say to yourself, “That’s me in the past and future.”
Tip #8
Get a clear glass jar, stick some masking tape around it and write: “Future sleek outfit(s),” and write your goal weight on the jar. Place the jar someplace near your scale. For each pound you lose, put a dollar in the jar. When you reach your goal weight, use the money to buy that sleek outfit (what a day that will be).
Tip #9
Every time you read an inspirational story about someone who lost a lot of weight, cut out the picture and the story of the person, and place it in a binder you can refer to each time you get discouraged.
Tip #10
As soon as you go down a size in clothes, get rid of all the clothes that are now too big for you. Saving them is admitting defeat. Don’t let that happen to you. When you think about the cost of buying them again, say to yourself, “I won’t have to. I will never need these clothes again, never!”
Your commitment and decision to get rid of that weight must be firm and lasting. Don’t waver...YOU CAN DO IT! NEVER GIVE UP!
Being encouraged for your weight loss program is one giant step forward to getting that fat off. Please remember that the best motivation for weight loss must come from your own heart and mind. Don’t let temporary setbacks keep you from your weight loss program not matter what.
